Yes We Can Be is an educational program for brilliant but needy and vulnerable children. The project aim to aid and educate vulnerable school children so as they can complete basic school successful and proceed to higher educational institutes.
The project consist of the following activities:
1. Sponsorship: that’s where a poor but brilliant kid from a rural area in the Bono Ahofo Region is selected and sponsored by Defoundgh from lower primary until Senior high school and beyond. Sponsorship included all school items needed for schooling such as uniform, bags, books, pens, pencils, erases, math sets, science set, socks, sanitary pads (for girls)
2. Free vacation and extra classes by paid/volunteered professional staff during vacation period and towards major exams such as BECE.
3. Regular visit and monitoring at school to motivate and encourage beneficiaries as well as performance review.
4. Award scheme: Beneficiaries are awarded annually for their successes and accomplishments as a way to intensified their enthusiasm for school and learning.
